What Should I Bring to My Appointment? {and do I 'need' an appointment?}
   We work by appointment. We can occasionally take walk-ins, schedule permitting,
~so always call ahead to make sure we are able to give you all of our attention,
 as we do not allow brides to help themselves in and out of dresses.
  Wear ivory or natural colored underwear, along with a good, strapless bra. 
For sanitary reasons, underwear is required. Your bridal consultant will be dressing and undressing you, so be prepared to get up close and personal. This old fashioned way of working with brides is tried and true, and makes getting in and out of heavy, ornate gowns much easier, and less stressful on you in the long run. 
  Please bring a pair of shoes with a heel height close to what you want to wear on your wedding day. Heels will affect the overall finished length of your gown.

Who should I Bring to My Appointment?
   We are an intimate sized traditional bridal boutique and so *We do have a 2 Guest Limit.
 We ask that you be choosy about who will accompany you. It's easy to get distracted and sidetracked when too many voices drown yours out. We recommend bringing only your closest loved ones, but especially the one you deem "decision maker."
 We know just how important those "blessings on the dress" are. 
 *Remember, this is Your Day, and we want it to be a happy, memorable one.
Many times there are other appointments going on at our other staging areas,
and we want to be respectful of each Bride during this very special shopping time. 
We also want to stay focused on your voice.

How Many Dresses Will I Try On?
  Some brides try on 10 before they fall in love, and others fall in love with the first one! Either way {time permitting} ~whether its 10 dresses or 20, we will work hard to find you exactly The One that makes your heart skip a beat! Having an Open Mind is key to your appointment! More times than not, a wild card pick by our trained consultants
 can often turn out to be "The One."

What is a Trunk Show?
  A Trunk Show is an event that allows us to feature an extensive selection of a specific designers collection for one weekend, and sometimes up to one week. These are usually the only time a designer allows us to extend promotional pricing
~so they are a great opportunity to try on many styles from a favorite designer,
 as well as save on your dress!

Do We Discount?
 The Bridal Suite of Louisville is a small "mom and pop" business, 
that goes to great lengths to train our staff in order to bring you the best luxury shopping experience possible, and bring you the most reputable designer collections available ~affordably.  All of the designers we are Authorized  to carry require that we maintain MRP pricing. Designers allow us to extend special pricing during Events, 
but are otherwise discouraged. *If you have seen a lower price online, BEWARE
The bridal industry has been struggling with Asian Counterfeit sites that closely resemble Authentic Bridal Retailers for years. 
A good rule of thumb is: "If it seems too good to be true, it usually is." 
If in doubt, check the designers "Authorized Retailers" list. 
 ~But don't take our word for it, here are some great resources to check out:

How Much Should I Budget?
  We start at $1200 and top off at $3,000.
However, Most average around $1,800.
We will also be showing you Hair Ornaments, and Veils,
 ~so allow some room in your budget for the perfect Accessories! 
  We try to carry a wide array of price points to accommodate varying budgets.
 If you are on a tight or very strict budget, we offer a selection of gently tried on
 Sample Gowns that have been drastically reduced as we can no longer order them. 

How Long Does it Take For Gowns to Come In?
  Typically, it can take up to 6-8 months for a gown to arrive, once the order has been placed. It really depends on the designer we are ordering from though.
 Some of our companies are now offering *Quick-Ship options. 
  If you are planning a short engagement, don't stress! 
During normal weekday store hours we are able to call our designers, and often times they can move things around to make your dream dress happen! {*extra charges may apply}

Do You Provide alterations?
  Alterations are not included with the purchase of gowns. We DO provide our customers with an exclusive list of reputable seamstresses to handle all your tailoring needs. We firmly believe that Bridal alterations are "an Art" unto themselves, requiring a great deal of skill and talent. This method helps to keep your costs down, when a seamstress does not have to pay a "contracting fee" to the bridal boutique. 

Are there Any Requests you Have from Me?
*Due to the delicate nature of the merchandise in our store, 
 Please Leave All Food and Drinks at Home. 
*We have a No Picture Policy, until time of purchase. So we ask that you kindly put all Cell phones away during the appointment. 
*We offer Complimentary FaceTime for brides that would like to "share" their experience with distant loved ones, and provide an ipad in store for that. 
We now offer Private, Specialty Appointments starting at $50.

  *Lastly, We Ask that You Have Fun and Enjoy this
